From this belly....
came these baby girls, a little premature but so healthy and strong...
Introducing Snow White and Rose Red
(not their real names)
I am so happy. So exhausted, so happy!
I won't be showing any more photos of them on this blog until they're old enough to give their consent, but wanted to give you a glimpse.
Do hope you're all well, I'll be back online blogging and visiting you about once a month if I can.

ReplyDeleteDear Emalina, how often I have thought of you in recent weeks, knowing that the twins must have made their entrance. Blessings on you, and on Snow White and Rose Red. (That is one of my favorite fairy tales of all times, btw.) Thank you so much for sharing--it can't be easy to do much right now but take care of yourself and the dear girls! Don't worry about posting regularly. We will be patient, knowing what you are up to.
ReplyDeleteOh, what a fairytale picture! Warmest congratulations, jubilations, blessings! Well done! Thank you for sharing this glimpse.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, oh my goodness, oh my goodness! I have been thinking of you and your babies a lot recently and wondering when we were going to hear news! You look so, so happy and I'm feeling a little teary. What beautiful babies, you have done a wonderful job of growing them and they are so lucky to have you as their mother. It's wonderful to think that the heirlooms that have been passed down to you may be passed on to them as well. Congratulations on your strong, healthy, beautiful daughters. x
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! They are beautiful and I am sure you are just over the moon. Snow White and Rose Red was one of my favourite stories when I was little. :-) Enjoy your time with your girls; it is so much more important than blogging.

Emalina, this is beyond wonderful. I, like a few other commenters, had been thinking about the fact that you were due. So pleased then to hear that all is well and you have these two beautiful little bundles.
ReplyDeleteSending the whole family love and the warmest thoughts for this next big adventure.
Xxx
Ps - I really respect your decision to wait until they're old enough to consent to having their pictures on the internet. I often think how odd it will be for this future generation, with many having numerous photos of them as children easily found on all sorts of different platforms.
So lovely!!! I am happy for you all. XXOO
ReplyDeleteMy dearest friend these babies couldn´t have land in softer , warmer and more loving arms.
ReplyDeleteThey are such a treasure.
I do not share photos of our Adam, you never know who is watching and as you say let them be children.
Tons of love dearest Emalina .
You look proud and radiant.
